These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the website at tia.aero (the “Site”), operated by Trans Island Airways Ltd. (“TIA”), a licensed Bahamian air operator (CAA-B AOC TIAA-977). By accessing the Site you agree to these Terms.
Informational use
The Site is provided for informational and marketing purposes. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to carry, a binding quote, a confirmed booking, a representation of aircraft availability, or a guarantee of specific routing or schedule. Any charter, management, or lease engagement is subject to a separate written agreement executed by TIA.
Quote requests
When you submit a quote request by email or other channel, you are asking us to prepare a proposal. A binding contract is formed only when TIA issues a written quotation that you accept and any applicable deposit is received.
Regulatory scope
All flight operations are conducted in accordance with the rules of the Civil Aviation Authority of The Bahamas and, where applicable, of the destination state (including the FAA Part 129 authorisation, EASA TCO authorisation, and CAA Cayman Islands authorisation held by TIA). Operations are subject to weather, airspace, aircraft serviceability, crew legality, and permits. TIA reserves the right to delay, divert, or cancel flights where required for safety or compliance.
Intellectual property
The Site, including text, photography, logos, and other content, is owned by TIA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages of the Site for non-commercial, personal use. You may not reproduce, republish, or use the content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites or tools. TIA does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those third-party resources.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. TIA does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious code. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TIA disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TIA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. TIA’s total liability arising out of your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Bahamas for any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms.

TIA may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
