Private Charter Between Nassau and San Juan.
About 2 hours 20 minutes in the Lear 60 between Lynden Pindling International (MYNN) and Luis Muñoz Marín International (TJSJ) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Nassau ↔ San Juan is both a Caribbean leisure and corporate lane — the Condado-Old San Juan tourist corridor, plus Puerto Rico's pharma, financial services, and Act 60 expatriate community. As a U.S. territory, customs is cleared at origin in both directions.
Why this route
Puerto Rico is unusual in the Caribbean portfolio because as a U.S. territory the customs treatment is U.S.-to-U.S. — no foreign clearance at either end, which simplifies the trip significantly. The Lear 60 covers the route in just over two hours with reserves; the corporate Puerto Rico base (pharma, banking, and the recent Act 60 wealth migration to the Condado and Dorado areas) generates steady demand alongside the more familiar Caribbean leisure flow.
Same-week business turns are common; weekend leisure runs to Old San Juan and the Condado picks up year-round. Cap Sant Regis and Dorado Beach are the marquee resort destinations.
Airport & FBO
Luis Muñoz Marín International (TJSJ) is the standard arrival. Signature Flight Support operates the principal FBO at TJSJ with full private-terminal services. Because the route is U.S.-to-U.S., there's no foreign customs step on either end; bags clear directly off the aircraft. Ground transfer to Old San Juan or the Condado is 15-25 minutes.
Isla Grande (TJIG), the smaller field closer to downtown San Juan, is also flyable — Caribbean Aviation Corp handles biz aviation there. TJIG is quieter and faster to clear, but TJSJ is the default because of FBO infrastructure.
On the Nassau end, all flights operate out of MYNN. The U.S.-territory status of Puerto Rico means we file the trip as a U.S. flight; CBP clears at the Nassau side on the way out, San Juan side on the way back.
