Why this route
Punta Cana ↔ Nassau is a steady Caribbean luxury route. The Dominican Republic's eastern resort corridor — Cap Cana, the Hard Rock complex, Tortuga Bay at Puntacana Resort & Club — pulls international traffic, and from Nassau the leg is short enough to make spontaneous weekends practical. We fly this lane both as a primary destination and as a feeder for onward Caribbean travel through MDPC's international concourse.
Casa de Campo, on the south coast at La Romana, is the parallel demand. We either fly directly into La Romana International (MDLR) — handled by the same FBO network — or land at MDPC and arrange ground transport for the 90-minute drive west. Most clients prefer the direct MDLR flight when scheduling allows.
Airport & FBO
Punta Cana International (MDPC) is the larger field and handles most private-aviation arrivals. The dedicated VIP terminal handles customs and immigration on-field; ground transport to Cap Cana is 15 minutes, to Tortuga Bay 5 minutes — the FBO is essentially on the Puntacana Resort & Club property.
For Casa de Campo trips, La Romana International (MDLR) is the better field — shorter ground transfer and a smaller, quieter terminal experience. The FBO handles customs and immigration directly; the drive into Casa de Campo proper is under 15 minutes.
On the Nassau end, all flights operate out of MYNN. Bahamian customs and immigration on departure clears at MYNN; DR immigration handled at the MDPC or MDLR FBO on arrival.
