Why this route

Freeport sits on Grand Bahama, 115 nautical miles northwest of Nassau and barely 60 miles off the Florida coast. The Lear 60 covers the leg in about 25 minutes — closer than most clients realise. We fly Nassau ↔ Freeport for a steady mix of corporate traffic (the shipyard, the container port, the industrial east-end footprint), the Lucayan resort and Port Lucaya leisure market, and the residential community at West End.

Commercial alternatives to Freeport from Nassau are limited to Bahamasair and a small number of regional carriers, often on schedules that don't match a business-traveller's day. The private route lets you leave on your schedule, with luggage that doesn't fit a 19-seat regional cabin, and with the kind of FBO arrival that turns a half-day commercial trip into a 45-minute door-to-door experience.

Airport & ground handoff

Grand Bahama International (MYGF) handles all biz aviation traffic for the island. The 11,000-foot runway is one of the longer fields in the Bahamas and accommodates the Lear 60 with substantial margin. The FBO sits on the civilian-side ramp with the usual private-terminal services. As domestic Bahamian travel, there's no customs or immigration step on either end.

Ground transfer from MYGF to downtown Freeport is 15 minutes; to the Lucayan / Port Lucaya resort corridor 20 minutes; to West End and the western residential community 40 minutes. The FBO concierge handles ground transport bookings on request.

On the Nassau end, all flights operate out of MYNN. Total flight time is the shortest of any non-Out-Island Bahamas route we fly — under 30 minutes wheels-up to wheels-down on the typical pattern.
