About 20 minutes off the Nassau ramp and you're on the runway at Governor's Harbour. Reverse the leg and you're back at MYNN in time for your international flight home. Nassau ↔ Eleuthera is one of the most-requested Bahamas inter-island routes we operate. The Lear 60 handles MYEH and MYEM (North Eleuthera) comfortably, which means we do this run directly with our own aircraft rather than through the broker network.
Why this route
Commercial schedules to Eleuthera are limited — one or two flights a day to Governor's Harbour, often on small turboprops, and bookings fill weeks out in season. A private flight in the Lear 60 lets you leave on your schedule, with luggage that doesn't fit in a 19-seat regional cabin, and with the family together rather than split across whatever seats were left.
The Lear is sized right for the demand here. Most groups going to Eleuthera or Harbour Island are four to eight passengers — usually heading for one of the boutique resorts (Pink Sands, the Cove, Coral Sands) or a private rental on the pink-sand beaches. The Lear takes that group plus luggage with room to spare, and the cabin is genuinely comfortable for a flight even this short.
Airport & ground handoff
We land at one of three Eleuthera airports depending on where you're staying: Governor's Harbour (MYEH) for the central island, North Eleuthera (MYEM) for Harbour Island and the Cove area, and Rock Sound (MYER) for the south. All three handle the Lear comfortably — MYEM is closest to the Harbour Island ferry, which is the standard onward connection (about 10 minutes by water taxi).
Since this is domestic Bahamian travel, there's no customs or immigration step on either end — wheels-up to wheels-down in about 20 minutes, then straight to your villa or onward ground/water transport. We coordinate the water taxi to Harbour Island as part of the trip if requested.
On the Eleuthera-to-Nassau direction, we often time the leg to connect with international flights out of MYNN. A 09:00 lift from MYEH puts you on the ground in Nassau by 09:25 — comfortable margin for a midday international wide-body departure.
