Why this route

Harbour Island is one of the most-photographed luxury destinations in the Bahamas — the pink-sand beach, Pink Sands resort, Coral Sands, the Cove, the Dunmore, the villa-rental network across Bay Street and the harbour. The island itself doesn't have an airfield, so the access pattern is always North Eleuthera by air, then water taxi.

The Lear 60 handles MYEM (4,500-foot runway, recently extended) comfortably with the modest weight loads typical for this route. From wheels-up at MYNN to feet on Harbour Island sand is about 50 minutes total including the water taxi — the most efficient access route to the island.

Airport & water transfer

North Eleuthera (MYEM) is the standard arrival. The FBO is small but adequate; as domestic Bahamian travel, there's no customs or immigration step. From the FBO, a 5-minute drive takes you to Three Island Dock where the water taxi to Harbour Island departs. The crossing is 10 minutes; the taxi runs on demand.
