Why this route

Tampa Bay is an underserved private-aviation lane from the Bahamas. There's no commercial direct flight on a useful schedule, so the alternative is a connection through Miami, Atlanta, or Orlando — each adds three to five hours of total trip time. The Lear 60 makes Nassau ↔ Tampa a 70-minute proposition, and the same is true in reverse for Bay-area residents heading to the Bahamas.

We see a steady mix of corporate traffic (the Tampa Bay banking and healthcare industries), Gulf-side property owners, and family vacation traffic. Weekend patterns are common in season; weekday business turns happen year-round.

Airport & FBO

Tampa International (KTPA) is the standard arrival for most clients — Signature Flight Support operates the main FBO with full private-terminal services. CBP clearance is at the FBO; the ground transfer time into central Tampa or to Tampa Bay-side properties is 15-25 minutes depending on destination.

For quieter alternatives, we also fly St. Pete-Clearwater (KPIE) — Sheltair operates there — and Tampa Executive (KVDF), a smaller field east of the city. KPIE is the preferred option for clients on the St. Pete or Clearwater Beach side; KVDF is the smallest-footprint option but has less FBO infrastructure.

On the Nassau end, all flights operate out of MYNN. Customs and immigration on the Nassau side handled at the airport on arrival; CBP at the U.S. FBO going the other direction.
