Private Charter Between Nassau and Aspen.

A signature Lear 60 lane in both directions, and one of the more demanding airports we fly into. KASE — Aspen / Pitkin County — sits at 7,820 feet and is approved for the Lear 60 with specific performance and crew training. We've operated Nassau ↔ Aspen for years, mostly in ski season but year-round for the music festival, the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the Roaring Fork Valley's quieter shoulder seasons.

Why this route

Aspen is in the Lear 60's range envelope from Nassau, with reserves. Depending on winds and weight we'll go nonstop or take a quick tech stop for fuel — most commonly Teterboro on the way out, or a quieter mountain FBO closer to the destination on the way back. Crew planning is what gets this trip right; the math has to be sharp every time.

What Aspen demands is operational discipline. KASE is mountainous, single-runway, weather-sensitive, and curfewed (no operations between 23:00 and 07:00 local). Approaches are visual on the LDA-DME and demand specific training. Our crews are current on the procedure and we plan alternates aggressively — Eagle (KEGE) is the standard backup, with Rifle (KRIL) and Grand Junction (KGJT) further afield. We don't push into KASE on marginal weather; we'll reposition you to the appropriate alternate and arrange ground transport, every time.

Airport & FBO

Atlantic Aviation operates the only FBO at KASE — full ramp services, fuel, and a lounge that does its job during peak weeks. Reservations are essential in ski season; we book your slot at the same time we file the trip. Ground transport in the Roaring Fork Valley is well-developed: private SUVs, town cars, and snow-rated drivers are all available through the FBO concierge.

For Aspen-to-Nassau return legs we file the same alternate plan in reverse: KASE departure subject to weight/runway/temperature math, with KEGE as the standard reposition airport if KASE is below limits. Most ski-week trips come out around midday for the smoothest departures.

On the Nassau end, all flights operate out of MYNN. Jet Nassau handles us; customs and immigration on arrival in Nassau, CBP cleared at the departure FBO going the other way.
