Private Charter Between Nassau and Washington, DC.

About 2 hours 30 minutes in the Lear 60 between MYNN and Washington Dulles (KIAD) or Leesburg Executive (KJYO). Reagan National (KDCA) is restricted for private aviation and we don't typically fly into it; KIAD and KJYO are the two practical D.C.-metro biz aviation airports. Customs cleared at origin in both directions.

Why this route

Washington ↔ Nassau is mostly a corporate, government-relations, and high-net-worth residential lane. The D.C. corporate base — defense contractors in the Tysons and Reston corridor, the financial firms in Bethesda and Chevy Chase, the lobbying and law firm concentration downtown — drives steady demand for executive private lift.

The leisure side picks up in winter months when Washington residents are heading to Bahamas property or resorts. The Lear 60's range is well within reach for Nassau-D.C. nonstop in either direction with reserves; bag capacity is generous for a typical eight-passenger weekend.

Airport & FBO

Washington Dulles (KIAD) is the most common arrival. Signature Flight Support operates the main FBO at KIAD with full private-terminal services and dedicated CBP clearance at the FBO. The ground transfer to McLean, Tysons, or Bethesda is 20-30 minutes; to downtown D.C. 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and time of day.

For clients in the Northern Virginia corridor — Leesburg, Middleburg, Loudoun County — we also fly Leesburg Executive (KJYO). ProJet Aviation operates the FBO at KJYO with full CBP clearance. KJYO is the smaller-footprint, quieter option and is closer to the Loudoun horse country.

Reagan National (KDCA) is generally not available for private charter under current Transportation Security Administration rules — the DCA Access Standard Security Program adds a level of pre-screening that's impractical for most charter operations. We fly KIAD or KJYO instead.
